The North Fork Ranger District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests has a requirement for the purchase and installation of two (2) high-top utility beds on supplied cab and chassis. The utility bed will be used to transport gear and tools across rough mountain roads and highway travel. The bed shall be fully complete and ready to use with all accessories installed as described in the technical specifications on pages 13-17. The manufacturer’s heavy-duty utility bed shall be furnished. The bed shall be of welded, unitized, galvanic steel construction. All materials, parts, and assemblies shall be new and of current manufacture. Workmanship, fabrication, and assembly shall be of the highest quality and in conformance with standard manufacturing practices. The final product shall be a complete, fully operational, and certified vehicle. After installation of the bed and allied equipment, the Contractor shall certify the entire vehicle and place any required sticker on the vehicle (final stage certification label). The label will show the manufacturer’s name, date, weight information, and verification that no Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards have been altered. See Attachment for additional Specifications (Pages 13-17) Delivery Date and Delivery Location: The Government will deliver and pick up the vehicles within 175 miles from Orofino, Idaho, to be completed by November 30, 2022.
