The Forest Service conducts significant amounts of archaeological inventory, much of it in support of meeting National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) requirements. Work can be conducted in support of many types of proposed projects including forest restoration, road construction and maintenance, and range management. Work conducted under this IDIQ will include conducting inventory and recording sites within large inventory areas, smaller spot surveys or site inspections/re-recordings, and limited site testing. Work could be performed on any of the Forest’s within the state of New Mexico. See draft Statement Of Work (SOW) attached.
