The United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, Region 3 Western Zone, Tonto National Forest, Phoenix, AZ intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a firm fixed-price, construction remodel of basement rooms at the Springerville Ranger District of the Apache-Sitegraves National Forest. The anticipated requirement will be issued under RFP Number 12837120R0015. The RFP is expected to be posted to Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov/ in late April 2020. This procurement will be conducted utilizing 100% Small Business Concern competitive negotiation procedures under FAR Part 15. The Government intends to award one (1) firm fixed-price contract. SELECTION PROCESS: The proposals will be evaluated using a Best Value Trade-Off source selection process. Potential offerors will be invited to submit their technical, past performance, and price information as described in the Solicitation, for review and consideration by the Government. The selection process will evaluate such factors (not necessarily in order): Past Performance, Technical which includes Management & Experience, and Price. Pro Forma information such as bonding and financial capability will also be required to meet the minimum requirements of the solicitation. In accordance with FAR 36.204(f), the construction range of this project is estimated between $200,000 to $300,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 236220 with the annual size standard of $33.5M.
