NAICS: 238160 SIZE STANDARD: $16.5M TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE Scope of Work: DEMOLITION: Work shall include removal of existing roofing. The Shop has an existing metal roofing and the Old Office has shingles. Care shall be taken to ensure no damage is done to surrounding penetrations or other items on the roof. DECKING: Upon completion of demolition, any required decking which is suitable for metal roof overlayment, shall be properly installed for new metal roof. NEW ROOF INSTALLATION: Upon completion of demolition and inspection / replacement of decking, contractor shall install a new brown metal roof as described in specifications. All roofing shall be secure and prevent water penetration. All roofing shall include provisions for penetrations. Included with new metal roof shall be a synthetic polypropylene underlayment as recommended by manufacturer. For shop roof, all existing skylights (12 total) shall be adequately decked over and covered with new roof. Any penetrations no longer needed shall also be covered with new roofing. Contractor shall replace all trim associated with roof such as the facia and soffits and it shall be brown in color, a minimum of 24 gauge.
