The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado is soliciting for and plans on awarding a contract for the Angel Creek Campground Remodel. This project includes: removal and installation of culverts, excavation and installation of vault toilets, aggregate surfacing, construction of new camp sites, installation of picnic tables and fire rings, seeding of areas, installation of signs, and roadway reconditioning. A Sources Sought notice was posted at www.fbo.gov October 10, 2019 and a site visit was held October 22, 2019 Directions and maps are located on Attachment 1: Maps and Drawings This is a total small business set aside. All Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) to be considered responsive. SAM is a free service. The anticipated date for award of this contract is March 16, 2020. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS AND SITE VISIT SCHEDULE This is a Sources Sought Synopsis announcement to be used for preliminary market research information purposes. It is also a site visit notice so that prospective contractors can see the site before the area is inaccessible due to snow. This is not a solicitation for proposal - do not send pricing information. Market research is being performed to determine the best method to advertise the Government's needs. Responses received will determine the type of solicitation to issue. No reimbursement will be made for any costs incurred, associated with: providing information in response to this synopsis, attending the site visit, or any follow up information requests. No funds are presently available for this effort. The government reserves the right to cancel this sources sought at any time. SITE VISIT SCHEDULED (WEATHER PERMITTING) Date: October 22, 2019 Time: 10:00 a.m. Travel Directions: From Ouray, Colorado, travel south on US-550 for 0.6 miles, turn right on Camp Bird Road and continue for 2.0 miles. Turn right at the entrance for Angel Creek Campground. Total travel time from Ouray is 11 minutes or 2.8 miles.
