Also to add questions as of 8/26/20, add questions from the Site Visit, and to extend the solicitation due date to 9/3/20 11:00MT. The Manitou Water System Upgrade project consists of modifications to the existing non-public, potable water system to add a new on-demand, chlorination system. The project involves the decommissioning of existing filtration vault, demolition of the existing filtration hut structure, and the construction of a new chlorination chamber. A new 100 Amp underground electrical service shall be run from the upper garage building. The new chlorination system will contain appropriate filtration, Chlorine disinfection, and cross connection protection to comply with the State of Colorado Primary Drinking Water Regulations (5 CCR 1002-11), specifically Section 11.8 Surface Water Treatment Rule. Two options for the enclosure are available for bid: a traditional framed 12’x’12 structure as detailed in Sheet 4 of the plans, and an optional bid replacement of a pre-engineered concrete structure. Pre-Proposal Site Visit is scheduled on August 11, 2020, 10:00am MT. All participants must RSVP by August 10, 2020 by contacting Anthony Salas at anthony.salas@usda.gov. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 - $250,000. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns under NAICS Code 236220. Offerors shall submit all questions in writing by August 21, 2020 to anthony.salas@usda.gov.
