The solicitation number is 1282FT190003. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract is set aside 100% for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220, size standard is $15.00. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract for the Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS) Manitou EF Residence Water Heater Replacement. This solicitation requires the contractor to replace the existing domestic high efficiency water heater with a new tankless water heater. This includes the removal and disposal of the existing unit and then install a new tankless water heater including a new propane piping of sufficient size to supply needed for the unit and new venting. Work is estimated to begin around April 22, 2019 and completion around May 7, 2019. The award of this contract will be based upon best value to the Government and other factors considered.
