Consistent with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clause 52.212-1(e) Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, Multiple offers, interested parties are encouraged to submit offers presenting alternative terms and conditions or alternative commercial services for satisfying the requirements of this solicitation including proposing a different period of performance. Each offer submitted will be evaluated separately. As a result of this update, the date for responses has been extended to Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 1700MDT. End of Update. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1282CS20Q0034 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-05. This requirement is solicited as a Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns (Total Small Business Set-Aside) under NAICS code 115310, Support Activities for Forestry, Fuels Management Services with a U. S. Small Business Administration size standard of $20.5 million. This is a requirement for thinning for the San Juan National Forest. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses and provisions applicable to this acquisition are attached. Evaluation shall be made on a Best Value basis in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-2. A current Contractor registration is required on the System for Award Management (SAM) website, https://www.sam.gov/SAM/. Quoters must ensure that they are self-certified under NAICS Code 115310 as a small business in the Representations and Certifications portion of SAM or return a fully executed Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Mar 2020) FAR clause 52.212-3 with their quote.
