This solicitation and any resultant contract is a stewardship project in accordance with Section 323 of Public Law 108-7 (16 U.S.C. 2104 Note, as revised February 28, 2003 to reflect sec. 323 of J.J. Res. 2 as enrolled), the Consolidated Appropriations Resolution, 2003, amending Public Law 105-277, sec. 347. The contract includes the following components: Snaggletooth contract is an Integrated Resource Stewardship Contract (IRSC) covering 468 acres within the Lake Canyon Environmental Assessment (EA) area on the Dolores Ranger District of the San Juan National Forest. The legal description of this projects is portions of Sections 1, 2, & 3. Township 40N Range 17W. Portions of Sections 23, 26, 27, 34, 35, & 36 Township 41N Range 17W. Portion of Section 31, Township 41N Range 16W. New Mexico Principal Meridian. Dolores County, Colorado. This project includes an estimated volume of 1,000 CCF. A site visit is not scheduled for this solicitation. Refer to clause 52.217-1, Site Visit for instructions should you desire to tour the site on your own.
