The Fish Lake National Forest requires installation of 4,000 gallon water tank, spray bars and associated plumbing to convert an International, Model HX520, Year 2023, incomplete cab chassis truck into a water tender for dust management. Water Tender build must meet the needs of the government in accordance with the stated minimum specifications of this solicitation and its attachments. Delivery of finished product must be delivered within the specified timeframe. For the purpose of this solicitation, interested vendors must be located within 250 miles of Fish Lake National Forest, 115 East 900 North, Richfield, UT 84701 order to be considered for this contract opportunity. Description of requirement: 4,000 Gallon Water Tank: - 4,000 gallon capacity. - Approximately 15 feet in length, or within capacity of chassis. - Ability to draft load. - Load from top. Spray Bars with necessary plumbing/fittings: - Front and rear spray bars should be the width of the truck with a spray head on each corner, each spray head should be capable of spraying 15-20 feet. - Side Sprayers. - Must include necessary plumbing and fittings. Pump with necessary plumbing/fittings: - Pump must be compatible to an automatic transmission. - Pump must be capable of pumping a minimum of 750 gallon per minute at 2000 RPM. - PTO must turn at 140-160 percent. - Must include necessary plumbing and fittings. *****08/26/2024 *****(UPDATED) - Amendment 0001 to solicitation #1282B124Q0099. The purpose of this amendment to inform the public that the due date for submission of quotes is extended to 3:00PM EDT on 08/29/2024, and to remind offerors to pay special attention to existing language of this solicitation in Addenda to Provision FAR 52.212-1 paragraph (b) Submission of Offers: 1) Offerors must have an active entity registration in the System for Award Management to submit an offer. https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ 2) Offers submitted in response to this solicitation shall include a technical specifications, a price quote, and contractor representations and certifications. a) Technical Specifications - Provide a detailed specifications sheet that includes dimensional and technical data. b) Price Quote - Include the following: 1) the completed Schedule of Items from Section B of this solicitation, and 2) acknowledgement of any amendments to this solicitation by following the instructions that accompany the amendment(s). c) Representations and Certifications - Fill in the check boxes for provisions FAR 52.204-26, FAR 52.204-24 and FAR 52.212-3, found in Section E of this solicitation and include a copy with your offer. d). Delivery - Contractor must include with their offer their proposed delivery lead time. 3) Submit offer by email to jason.bologna@usda.gov so that it is delivered into this inbox by the due date and time. Emails should contain 3 separate attachments (Technical Specifications, Price Quote, and Representations and Certifications) in Microsoft Word, Excel, or Adobe PDF format. Be aware that large attachments may increase the time required to deliver an email. Interested contractors shall review the attached SF30 and acknowledge receipt of this amendment by returning a signed copy of the SF30 to the listed point of contact of this solicitation. *****09/03/2024 *****(UPDATED) - Amendment 0002 to solicitation #1282B124Q0099.The purpose of this amendment to inform the public that the due date for submission of quotes is extended to 3:00PM EDT on 09/06/2024, and to add the following language: 1) Offerors must certify all modifications, alterations, and additions to government property meet all applicable Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards for safe and lawful use on US Roadways. 2) Transportation of Government property for offsite work: Offerors must ensure transportation provider(s) possess all necessary state/federal required bonds and/or insurance. Offerors are responsible for chain of custody of Government property during the period of performance. Interested contractors shall review the attached SF30 and acknowledge receipt of this amendment by returning a signed copy of the SF30 to the listed point of contact of this solicitation.
