The Salmon-Challis National Forest may issue a future for reconstructing the Wallace Lake Campground water system that was damaged during the 2022 Moose Fire on the Salmon-Cobalt Ranger District of the Salmon-Challis National Forest the spring of 2024. The current government estimate for reconstruction is approximately 3,500 ft of HDPE line, new storage tank, 6 new hydrants, and 2 daylight drains, along with other valve boxes as necessary. This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract(s) based solely on this site visit nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement. The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective contractors may see the areas prior to snowfall obscuring the ground or preventing access prior to issuing the solicitation. This solicitation should be issued in March or April of 2024.
