The services covered in this solicitation and resultant contract are for applying herbicides for the control of noxious weeds on Public Lands. Areas to be treated are predominately forested and rangeland with riparian areas (creeks, dams, or dugouts) within 2012 burn units on the Pine Ridge Ranger District and Oglala National Grasslands and areas where fuels have been treated since the fires. The species being targeted are: Canada thistle, Scotch Thistle, Hound’s Tongue and Black Henbane. Attached maps represent known locations of noxious weeds based on 2022 treatment and inventory.
