A new modification to an existing Contract/Task Order (1284M820D0019/1282B123F0003) PRICE CONTRACTING INC, 1237 HANLAN LN, STEVENSVILLE, MT 59870-6149 - ueiSAM#: KXVHR7Z986H3 This mod will add an additional 8000 Cubic Yards of Aggregate surface course, Grading (S), Compaction (B) and road reconditioning, to the awarded contract for the purchase and installation of additional gravel surfacing. The savings in mobilizations expected by awarding the mod to a sole source are very significant when considered against the scale of this project. The government will be able to realize an increased product to dollar ratio that will result in more gravel being able to be placed. The aggregate and road conditioning work is already in the task order and an option was exercised on 4/25 with Modification #1 adding 3520 Cubic Yards, furthermore this modification request of 8000 yards was not in the original scope and is determined out of scope by the contracting officer which is why the Agency requires justification of other than full and open competition.
