Rio Grande National Forest, Conejos Ranger District, Chama Basin Trail Bridge Construction The USDA Forest Service intends to issue a Request for Proposals for a Firm Fixed Price contract for the construction of a trail bridge, on the Conejos Ranger District of the Rio Grande National Forest. To access the work site from Chama, NM, travel north on Highway 17 to the Chama River Road (FSR 121), turn left onto FSR 121, travel about six miles to the Rio Grande National Forest boundary. Take the left fork about one mile to the new bridge location. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals to construct and install a prefabricated trail bridge where the current trail crosses the creek on the Chama Basin Trail. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 36.204, the estimated magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The anticipated period of performance for this contract will be from approximately June 29, 2020 through October 31, 2020. NAICS: 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction with a Small Business size standard of $39.5 Million. This project will be solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to applicable wage rates. Solicitation number is 1282AK20R0001.
