This is a Presolicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5. The USDA Forest Service (FS), Job Corps , has a requirement for Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQ ). The IDIQ’s will be for facilities construction and maintenance for Job Corps Center located in the following states; MT, OR, WA. The work performed may include new work, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs and construction of facilities, to include roofing, plumbing, hvac, electrical and other trades. This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220 —Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standards of $45M. The IDIQ contracts will have a s ceiling of $5 Million. The ordering period of the IDIQ contracts will be five (5) years from the effective date of the award or when the ceiling of $5 Million is reached, whichever comes first. Request for Proposal (RFP) for this acquisition will be released on or about December 21, 2023, and will close approximately 30 days after. This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to construct new work, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs for road and other transportation related repair and construction services. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.
