The United States Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigation has a need for the customized installation of eight (8) Law Enforcement and Investigations vehicles. The requirement will need to cover upfitting installation, purchase, and warranty for the following Government provided vehicles and equipment. 1- 2022 Ford F-150 Crew Cab - Assigned to a Uniformed Law Enforcement Officer 4- 2023 Chevrolet SSV 1500 Crew Cab – Assigned to a Uniformed Law Enforcement Officer 2 - 2023 Chevrolet SSV 1500 Crew Cab – Assigned to Patrol Captains 1 - 2023 Chevrolet 2500 Crew Cab (Covert/Undercover) – Assigned to a Special Agent These vehicles will be operated and assigned to Law Enforcement Officers, Patrol Captains, and a Special Agent within Region 2. Region 2 covers 5 States, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, and South Dakota. These Vehicles will be operating on extremely rough mountain roadways, which will encompass driving conditions of washboard, rocky, sandy roads with extreme vibrations. The install will need to make sure, heavy metal brackets are utilized that can withstand such vibrations and driving conditions. The Forest Service Law Enforcement and Investigations is willing to transport the vehicle at government expense within these six (6) states, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota, and Montana. Anything outside these States will require the vendor to provide transportation for the vehicles at the vendor’s expense.
