DESCRIPTION A. Work for this project requires the Contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: 1. Provide and install approximately 1,825 SF of subfloor underlayment and rubber floor tiles in Urban Forestry building 2880. a. The Contractor will provide and install subfloor underlayment in the Urban Forestry building 2880. Underlayment will consist of 1/2 inch thick, 4’X8’ multi-ply underlayment grade plywood as recommended by the flooring manufacturer, and secure to the existing sub floor utilizing industry standard fastening methods. Other wood subfloor materials, such as OSB, lauan, particleboard, chipboard or cementitious tile backer boards, are not acceptable. The underlayment will be leveled, prepared and cleaned as needed per manufacturer’s recommendations for the Flooring Material. b. The Contractor shall provide and install Flexco Distinct Designs Rubber Tile, Evolving Styles, 36" x 36" x 1/8" or equivalent and manufacturerrecommended adhesive. c. The Contractor shall provide and install rubber cove base on all interior walls to include cove base adhesive as recommended by the cove base manufacturer. d. The Contractor will dispose of any waste material (underlayment, cove base, etc.) not required to be returned to the Government. LOCATION This project is located at the Angell Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center located 335 NE Blodgett RD Yachats, OR 97498.
