DESCRIPTION A. Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: 1. Locating and repairing the water line break under the foundation and/or water supply line outside of building S7, center warehouse. (Note: the South Dakota Rural Water Association has identified the water line break to be located below the concrete floor where the water line enters the building up through the concrete floor, however, this cannot be verified until the contractor accesses the break). The work will include the following: a. cutting through the concrete slab and/or foundation to access the water line break. b. locating and repairing water line break (water line is presumed to be 2” copper), c. replace existing exterior curb stop valve and box, d. performing leak testing on water line from new curb stop to leak repair, e. replacing and compacting fill material and pouring new concrete slab section, f. using rebar dowels to connect new slab section to existing foundation/floor. 1.2 LOCATION A. This project is located at the Boxelder Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center located 25 of miles from Rapid City, South Dakota in Lawrence County. The address is 22023 Job Corps Place, Nemo SD, 57759. Driving instructions can be obtained from the Center by calling 605-348-3636. 1.3 PROJECT SCHEDULING A.
