DESCRIPTION A. Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses for the work summarized as follows: 1. The existing gutter and downspout system on the Driver's education building (building 701), the back of the warehouse (building 2298 note: front of building not included in this scope), and the education building (building 2887) have badly deteriorated. Some downspouts are completely detached and others are almost completely rusted through. Some gutter sections on these buildings are compromised by physical damage and rust. 2. Replacement of the existing gutters and downspouts to be completed by a qualified company/contractor. There are approximately 500 feet of 5" K aluminum gutter and 180 feet of down spouts required for this project (60' of 2"X3" corrugated downspout and 120' of 3"X4" corrugated downspout). 3. Contractor will remove old gutters, downspouts, and deteriorated fascia boards and provide new gutters and downspouts. Contractor will replace any deteriorated fascia coverings and siding as needed. Contractor will notify Contracting Officer of rotted joists, rafters, or framing. Contractor will haul away old gutter and downspout material. Center staff will install concrete splash blocks and/or French drain systems where needed after contractor installation is complete. Gutter/downspout color will be white. This project is located at the Angell Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center located 4 of miles from Yachats, Oregon in Lincoln County. The address is 335 NE Blodgett Road, Yachats, Oregon, 97498.
