USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Construction - Needle Rock Recreational Area is located on the Cave Creek Ranger District, Tonto National Forest. The site provides an access point to the Verde River that is heavily used by all recreational groups. The parking lot for the site is located at the confluence of the ephemeral Camp Creek and the Verde River. For this reason, the objectives of this project are to: A) Remove approximately 248 Linear Feet (LF) of existing and damaged sections of pipe rail; B) Replace the pipe rail with a new layout detailed in Appendix "A" of this document (Approximately 219 LF); This project located at Needle Rock Recreation Site and can be found 32 miles northeast of Phoenix, AZ. The project is located on the Cave Creek Ranger District, of the Tonto National Forest, T5N, R7E, Section 17, 18, 21, and 30.The site can be accessed via East Rio Verde Drive. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Prices contract using RFQ Best Value - Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small business Size Standard is $36.5 Million under NAICS code 237990. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal Contract, potential vendors need to already be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov No Site Visit has been scheduled Offers or responses to the solicitation (include the solicitation number in the name of the document) may be sent to the Contracting officer by email: michelle.l.bahr@usda.gov before the deadline.
