USDA Forest Service, Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, Springerville, Arizona, has a requirement to decommission buildings and other infrastructure at the Chevelon Work Center. The project is located on the Black Mesa Ranger District, Coconino County. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contracts under the Request For Proposals using Best Value-Tradeoff format. All work under this contract is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Act. This procurement is a total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code 238910 applies to this procurement for which the Small Business size standard is $15.0 million. Magnitude of this project: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. In order to be eligible for award of a Federal contract, potential vendors need to already be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov and have a DUNS number. A Site Visit-Preproposal Meeting has been scheduled for May 1, 2019 11:00 AM MST at the Chevelon Work Center. USFS personnel will depart from the Black Mesa Ranger Station Complex, 2748 E AZ HWY 260, Overgaard, AZ 85933, at 9:30 AM MST. Directions to Chevelon Work Center: Chevelon Work Center is specifically located at LAT 34.539689 degrees, LONG -110.914039. From Show Low: From the intersection of AZ-260 and US-60 in Show Low, AZ, head east along AZ-260 for 58.1 miles. Turn right onto NFSR 300 and continue 9.1 miles. Merge right onto NFSR 34 and continue 12.6 miles. Chevelon Work Center is located on the west side of the road. This access is closed seasonally during the winter months. From Winslow: From the intersection of AZ-87 and Central Street (south of the railroad tracks), head southwest along AZ-87 one mile. Turn left at AZ-99 and continue 39.8 miles. AZ-99 turns into NFSR 34. Chevelon Work Center is located on the west side of the road. The solicitation package and specifications will be available on this website on or after May 7, 2019.
