Information concerning the REE policies and procedures regarding the definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts and the time required for definitization of those actions per 15 U.S.C. 644 is available at https://www.ars.usda.gov/afm/apd/acquisitions/.4. REE gathers the data regarding the length of time it takes for definitization of equitable adjustments for change orders under construction contracts on a rolling data call basis in which the awarding contracting office provides on a per modification basis. That data will be aggregated and will be available at https://www.ars.usda.gov/afm/apd/acquisitions/ as required by 15 U.S.C. 644(w). Data regarding this requirement was not gathered prior to FY23. 5. The procurement requires the use of biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. Where available, these products should first be acquired from among qualified products that fall under the umbrella of items designated through the USDA BioPreferred Program.

THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Center for Grain and Animal Health Research has a requirement for a Bathroom Renovation project in Manhattan KS. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and perform all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price construction contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12805B24R0030, may be issued on or about late May 2024. The NAICS Code shall be 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $45M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via sam.gov in the “Contracting Opportunities” section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.
