This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12805B24Q0077 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-10. The associated NAICS code is 334516 Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 1000 employees and the PSC code is 6640. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Plains Area, Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC) has a need to purchase Supplies for Oxford Nanopore Next-Generation Sequencing Systems – Brand Name or Equal. The Government intends to award firm fixed price purchase order. The requirements are further detail in the attached Requirements Document. The Government anticipates award of a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the specifications that will be the most advantageous to the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106-2 considering three major areas: technical acceptance, past performance and price. Quotes will be evaluated by performing a comparative evaluation in accordance with FAR 13.106-2(b)(3) to determine which quote meets the lowest price technically acceptable evaluation methodology. All sources wishing to quote shall furnish a quotation by 10:00 a.m. Central Time, on or before Tuesday January 16, 2024.
