The SOW and Specifications are written for all three phases of a greenhouse demolition project. HOWEVER, this contract is only for Phase I and II, which is constructing the new electrical service from Bldg 6 to Bldg 54 and switching overpower from new duct bank to Bldg 54. There is not a mandatory site visit to attend. Please see paragraph L.6. All questions pertaining must be submitted in writing to the POC (david.hildebrand@usda.gov) for this solicitation. THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area Office has a requirement to construct Phase I and II of an Underground Utility Duct Bank in Woodward, OK. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the duct bank. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price construction contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12805B23R0018, may be issued on or around March 3, 2023. The NAICS Code shall be 237130 Power and Communication Line and Related Structure Construction with a size standard of $45M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via sam.gov in the “Contracting Opportunities” section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8.
