This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12805B23Q0626 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-02. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service, Plains Area, National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF) has a need to purchase a Hyperspectral System. The Government intends to award firm fixed price purchase order. Have an Active SAM.gov registration and complete the Representations in FAR 52.204-24; the Representation and Certification section should also be completed electronically in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov Failure to provide the required information in the requested format may result in quotes not being considered for award. Attached Provisions/Clauses including the Buy American Act apply to this RFQ and any subsequent award. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for bid/proposal preparation costs.
