This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is 12805B22Q0100 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The USDA, ARS, Plains Area National Bio and Agri-Defense Facility in Manhattan, KS 66502 has a requirement for the start-up, calibration, cycle development and cycle verification of a Steris M100S VHP Bio-Decontamination Unit. The specialist performing work under this contract shall provide documentation verifying the individual is a Steris trained, Steris recognized Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide (VHP) specialist in good standing that has completed current training on the M100S. See attached Performance Work Statement for detailed information. Please note that this is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Contractor is required to have an active registration in the Government’s System Award Management (SAM) for the quote to be accepted. The Contractor will be required to register in Government’s Invoice Payment Platform (IPP) and submit invoices electronically for payment. Submit an SF-18 Form describing the services needed plus verification of Steris trained ceritification on the Steris M100S Unit. Include all associated costs to the location at Manhattan, KS. Make sure to include your company's DUNS Number. Send the SF-18 and all related documents to james.porter@usda.gov before the deadline on March 9, 2022.
