This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation is attached. The solicitation number is 12805B22Q0047 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is a TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The USDA, ARS, Plains Area Conservation and Production Research in Bushland, TX 79012 has a requirement to obtain parts for a cone planter upgrade that will fit an existing MaxEmerger Four Row Planter. Note that this solicitation is only for parts. The location will make the actual installation. Specifications: 1) Four seed boxes with cone shaped inserts (wide part of the cone at the bottom of the planter where seeds are delivered to the planting mechanism. 2) Electrical and other hardware components to control seed delivery from the planter box to the planting mechanism. 3) Assembly components for attaching the seed boxes and associated tool bar to the planter frame. Please note that this is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Contractor is required to have an active registration in the Government’s System Award Management (SAM) for the quote to be accepted. The Contractor will be required to register in Government’s Invoice Payment Platform (IPP) and submit invoices electronically for payment. Submit an SF-18 Form describing the items needed. Include any shipping costs to the location at Bushland, TX. Make sure to include your company's DUNS Number.
