THIS IS AN INFORMATIONAL NOTICE ONLY The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Plains Area Office has a requirement construct a 28’ x 40’ wood framed, metal sheeted enclosed walkway between swine buildings at Clay Center, NE. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for the walkway construction In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204 the magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000 - $500,000. USDA will issue a Firm Fixed Price Construction Contract. The Request for Proposal (RFP), 12805B21R0008, may be issued on or around May 1, 2021. The requirement will be set-aside for 100% for Total Small Business, under NAICS Code 236220,Commerical and Industrial Building Construction with a size standard of $36.5M. Completion timeframe for the resulting contract is to be determined. The RFP will be accessible via https://beta.sam.gov/ in the “Contracting Opportunities” section. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the RFP package and any amendments. All offerors shall be registered with the System for Award Management Registration per FAR Clause 52.204-7 and 52.204-8.
