This is a notification of an intent to award a single source procurement under NAICS code 334516. The Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service at the USDA/ARS CPRL 2300 Experiment Station Road Bushland location will solicit and award a purchase order to provide ARS the C-Lock Inc. Smart Feed Pro Units. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide this requirement. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to Josh Keadle at joshua.keadle@usda.gov by 9/13/2021. Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirements. Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since the synopsis is not a request for proposal. A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to joshua.keadle@usda.gov. No faxed documents will be accepted. Responses to this Notice must be in writing. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to conduct market research to determine, in particular, the capability of Small Business firms to provide the supplies/services described below. Documentation of technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary experience to compete for this acquisition.
