Parking Lot Replacement, Brookings SD MANDATORY SITE VISIT COSNTRUCTION - Tuesday July 27th at 2:00pm Central Time See Soliciation Section L6 for detailed information SITE VISIT ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY TO PROVIDE AN OFFER ON THIS SOLICATION If you wish to attend the site visit please send an email to craig.mccuin@usda.gov and toinette.aranda@usda.gov and with the title “12805B21Q0399 Site Visit Registration” please include the name(s) of those attending, along with company information. Contractors must be registered to attend the site visit. If Contractors are not registered they will not be permitted on the site visit. The site visit registration deadline is July 26, 2021, any registration request received after July 26, 2021 will not be accepted. Description of Work: Parking Lot Removal: a. Contractor shall remove existing asphalt parking lot covering approximately 5,002 square yards (See Figure 1 and Figure 2). Supply proper packaging, transport, and disposal. Dispose of waste at the proper landfill facilities or reclamation facilities. Parking Lot Install: b. Contactor shall develop and submit for review and approval, a sloping and drainage plan for ARS review. Plan shall include curb and gutter, shaping, and other relevant components for directional water flow. Proposed plan shall include drainage to the north, away from the north or east, away from Building 001. c. Install asphalt parking lot. Install new, a minimum 4 inch thick asphalt parking lot surface in accordance with sloping and drainage plan. Surface course asphalt meeting the pavement overlay mixture as the state of South Dakota mix design. Slope of parking lot will be to the north away from Building 001 to prevent water and ice from forming in front of the main entrance of Building 001. d. Install chip sealant on new asphalt surfaces. Chip seal shall include all prep work, cleaning, sealing, installing, and sweeping of excess chips. e. Striping. Add approximately 1,332 linear feet of striping. f. Contractor shall present functional operation upon completion of the project. PROJECT LOCATION: Brookings, SD CONTRACT PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The period of performance of this contract is 45 days from award date. Price Range is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation is a total small business set aside. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM). For those who fail to meet these requirements will not be considered for award.
