The Kisatchie National Forest is seeking a contractor to design and install a water main to the Evangeline Work Center, in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. For this project, the contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, expertise, and other incidentals necessary, except as otherwise provided, to successfully complete the design and installation of a water main to deliver potable water from the Gardner water system to the existing water delivery system at the Evangeline Work Center in accordance with attached and referenced specifications. This is a Request for Quotes which will result in award of a firm-fixed price contract. The magnitude of this construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The projects is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The associated NAICS of this acquisition is 237110 and the small business size standard is $36.5 million. Award will be made to offeror representing the best value to the government and can be made on the initial offer. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about July 23, 2019. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. An organized site visit is scheduled for 9AM on July 31, 2019 at the Calcasieu RD office in Boyce, Louisiana, as further detailed in the solicitation. THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE HAS BEEN POSTED; DOCUMENTS ARE ATTACHED. The Statement of Work noted as Attachment 1 in Section J of the Solicitation is incorporated into Section C; there is NO attachment.
