Interpretive Signs - The Contractor is to complete graphic layout & design (including illustrations/photos) of four (3) interpretive panels. The Forest Service will provide sign content/context for each sign. Each sign will have its own theme and Contractor will create each sign around theme. After initial consultation, the Contractor shall prepare a brief conceptual plan for review., This design plan shall contain preliminary design layout and text. We expect 3 reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) of this design phase via email of pdf files and phone conferences. The Contractor is to fabricate four (3) porcelain enamel outdoor sign exhibits/panels. Final design shall be production ready and provided in the native file formats, as well as, in high resolution pdf versions. Files may be made available for download or provided on an external hard drive. Two sign panels will be full color 48" high X 36" Long One sign panel (center) will be full color 48" High X 60" Long Metal frames for each sign, frames will be mounted directly to existing stone pillars and new aluminum post. Frames will be painted in Federal Standard Brown (Code 31099).. Metal post will attach directly to existing concrete base. Post will be painted in Federal Standard Brown (31090). The panels will be mounted at the same heights (The old kiosk has a slight variation to height of the panels due to materials that were used) The project will be finished within one year of contract award. The Forest Service will install the sign panels and accompanied mounts and accessories. Sign will replace old information board while using pre-existing mounting structure.
