This is a brief pre-solcitation synopsis only, for the statement of work's full details please see the attached solicitation document, 127EAY22Q0010. The statement of work's details begins on page 12 of the PDF document. The purpose of this project is to obtain pasture, corral, or holding space, and supplemental feed for an estimated 25 head of FS stock for a 12-month period. Contractor shall provide stock access to feed, shelter, salt, and fresh water. Fencing shall be adequate to safely contain stock, and fenced area shall be free of hazards to stock. Shelter may include topographic features or trees which provide adequate coverage for stock from natural elements including wind, rain, snow, and sun. Contractor shall at all times provide stock access to an adequate and reliable water source. FS shall monitor available forage and feed stock from the purchased hay supply when available forage is insufficient. Note: Both the pasture and hay line items of this contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed price basis only. Interested parties are responsible for considering potential fluctuations in hay prices that may occur over the course of the contract, when developing their quote price.
