NFSR 24 Stabilization and Preservation
The USDA Forest Service requires road reconditioning, aggregate surfacing, and stabilization of NFSR 24 on the Alpine Ranger District in Apache County, Arizona. Work includes reestablishing the road template and applying an 80/20 Lignosulphonate/Mag Chloride blend as a dust palliative along approximately 13 miles, from the NFSR 249E intersection to the NFSR 26 intersection. An organized site visit will be held on August 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time, with directions provided from Eager, Arizona.
