Due to a lack of staffing during the Government Shutdown this project is being cancelled and will be posted under a new solicitation number after the shutdown ends** ***Important Notice to Contractors -- Due to the Government Shutdown, this solicitation will have the following changes: The Site Visit has been cancelled until further notice. The proposal due date has been extended out to Novemeber 7th, 2025. All dates are subject to the Government Shutdown and will be undated/finalized once the Government Shutdown has ended. If you have any questions please reach out to the Temparary Contracting Officer, Troy McCullough at troy.mccullough@usda.gov*** The project will facilitate the replacement of three drinking water systems: one at the Jacks Creek Campground and the other at the Field Tract Campground. Both sites are high-use recreation sites. The other water system to be replaced is the Panchuela Administrative site drinking water system. This site functions as an admin site as well as a day use area for members of the public recreating in the area.

The ultimate function is to provide safe drinking water for both the public and federal employees accessing and using each site. The site locations are across the Pecos/Las Vegas Ranger District and include three separate campgrounds. All the campgrounds are north of Pecos, New Mexico off NM-63. The campground coordinates are: 1. Jacks Creek Campground: 35.8390 -105.6560 2. Panchuela Admin Site: 35.8300, -105.6642 3. Field Tract Campground: 35.6873, -105.6945
