Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a 100% Small Business owned AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAX23R0003: Jacob Lake Work Center Quarters Renovations, Kaibab National Forest, Az. The project Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the tasks for the construction/renovation of three quarters buildings for the Jacob Lake Work Center on the North Kaibab Ranger District. The primary items to be addressed in the renovation is new roofing, new windows, and options to replace the HVAC systems along with new doors. Existing typical plans of the original construction are provided for contractors to use but a thorough site visit should be performed for bidding purposes. Location: Jacob Lake Work Center quarters buildings main office is located on the east side of the Flagstaff Ranger Station on the east side of town. The Flagstaff Ranger Station is located at 5075 US-89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Flagstaff Ranger Station Main office is accessed by the main road off highway 89. Solicitation 127EAX23R0003 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about June 26, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project. A pre-bid site visit is currently planned and will be scheduled in the RFP. The solicitation will include site visit information, as necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
