Title: Construction – 127EAX23Q0023 – Gila Wilderness Fire office siding Description of Work: Contract shall include all tools, procurement, delivery and labor for new siding and framing replacement where rot has occurred. Contractor shall demolish all existing siding on the Fire Office mobile unit and inspect studs and framing for rot and lack of structural integrity. It is anticipated that 15 feet of the southwest corner of the building has stud and framing damage, and contractor shall bid expecting to repair / replace that area. If additional areas are found to be not structurally sound, a change order may be issued. Once all studs and framing is repaired, contractor shall demolish and replace all siding with metal siding. Location: The Wilderness District Office is located adjacent to New Mexico State Highway 35 approximately 6 miles north of Mimbres, New Mexico. Basis for Award: The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFQ Best Value-Technically Acceptable: Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process.
