This project consists of road reconditioning and maintenance of 116.3 miles of aggregate and unsurfaced National Forest System Roads on the Carson and Santa Fe National Forests. Work includes reconditioning of ditches, shoulders, roadbeds, aggregate and native surfaces. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, labor, quality control and supervision necessary to complete the work as detailed in the Description of Work, Drawings, Project Locations, Specifications, and Schedule of Items. This contract consists of a base contract with option items. The base contract includes roadway reconditioning on 67.6 miles of Carson National Forest System Roads (NFSRs) and 14.3 miles of Santa Fe NFSRs. There are two (2) contract option items that may be awarded, one on each Forest, subject to availability of funds, through September 30, 2022.
