The USDA Forest Service, Coronado National Forest, Sierra Vista Ranger District, Canelo Work Center, has a requirement to rehabilitate buildings located in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. The Work Center is an administrative site comprised of seven buildings. They consist of a Big House, Small House, a shop/fire cache, a water operation shed, a storage building, a tack room, and a hay storage. Work includes The work associated with this project is to rehabilitate two structures at the Canelo Work Center, the Small House (Ranger House) and Big House (Residence). Rehabilitating these buildings will facilitate their inclusion into the Cabin Rental Program. Bringing the buildings up to public use standards will require internal and external rehabilitation. Magnitude of project: Between $100,000 and $250,000. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside to NAICS code 236118 $39.5 Million is the maximum size standard to qualify as small business. PSC code Z2FZ. Award will be based on Best Value - Tradeoffs. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. Organized Formal Site Visit: has been scheduled for July 6, 2022, . The meeting will be held at the site location. The Work Center may be accessed by using State Highway 83 which begins at Exit 281 off I-10. Travel south approximately 43 miles on AZ 83 to Membrillo Lane, a two-lane dirt road. Take Membrillo Lane north approximately ¾ mile to arrive at Canelo Work Center.
