Southwest Zone, Contracting Service Area #7 Contracting Office has a requirement for Mansfield Canyon Reclamation project. This Scope of Work for the Mansfield Canyon Reclamation project consists of construction activities associated with soil site preparation and seeding of designated areas within Mansfield Canyon located near Patagonia, Arizona. Reclamation shall be performed in two phases: Phase I is the site preparation; and Phase II is the seeding. Phase I is the site preparation including landscape re-contouring, slope surface roughening, and soil de-compaction; slash pile and boulder roadway placement; woody debris removal; and fence installation to facilitate the restoration of native vegetation within the Mansfield Canyon mine reclamation sites. Phase II is seeding, hydro-mulching, and installing erosion control materials across reclamation areas. Phase I and Phase II shall both be completed at a site before moving on to the next site to ensure seeding is performed on freshly prepared soil. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, materials, equipment and vehicles, tools, parts, labor, transportation, lodging, and miscellaneous items for the reclamation project located on Coronado National Forest, Nogales Ranger District, Santa Cruz County, Arizona. The NAICS code for this requirement is 562910 and size standard of 750 employees. This procurement is RESERVED AS A TOTAL SMALL-BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The government intends to award one contract as a result of this solicitation. The solicitation will be posted to the SAM.gov on or about Aug 9, 2022. The estimated proposal due date is Sep 8, 2022. No response to this notice is necessary and all interested contractors should register on the Interested Vendors List on the SAM.gov website. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM) database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a SAM UEI number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after closing date, with no obligation to the offeror by the government.
