The USDA Forest Service, Carson National Forest, Questa Ranger District has a requirement for replacing HVAC systems, Taos County, New Mexico, 87556. Project consists of replacing four (4) HVAC units at the District Office located in Questa NM, on the Questa Ranger District - Carson National Forest. The work shall include the installation of eight (8) power surge protection devices, four (4) for the new units & four (4) the existing units that remain. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using FAR 15 Request For Quotation (RFQ) Best Value format. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside to NAICS code 238220 $16.5 Million is the maximum size standard to qualify as small business. PSC code Z2NB. To be eligible for award of a Federal contract, potential vendors, at time of award, need to have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov/content/home. Formal Site Visit has been scheduled for August 17, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. (NM Time), Questa Ranger District Office, Questa NM. Process North through Taos via US-64 (Paseo del Pueblo Sur/Norte). Continue straight onto NM-522 N for approximately 20 miles. At NM-38 turn East and continue from approximately 1.5 miles and then turn right on Ranger Station RD.
