The Vendor shall furnish complete Bridge Kits as follows to include timber running planks, deck planks, timber railing, and wood curb gaurds per the attached Specifications and Bid Schedule as follows: Existing Geometry: Pot Creek Original Bridge Geometry: 19’ 10” Span x 16’ 0” Width x 0 Degree Skew Hodges Original Bridge Geometry: 22’ 0” Span x 14’ 0” Width x 0 Degree Skew Base Bid New Geometry: Pot Creek Bridge Kit – 20’ 8” Span x 17’ 9” Width x 0 Degree Skew 4 – Glued-laminated Panel, 6-3/4” x 4’ x 17’-9” (actual dimensions – includes 10-3/4” overhang on each side) 1 – Glued-laminated Panel, 6-3/4” x 4’-8” x 17’-9” (actual dimensions – includes 10-3/4” overhang on each side) 15 – Running planks, 3”x12” (nominal). If treatment is considered, specify a waterborne preservative. Beveling of plank ends at approaches reduces vehicle impact forces and improves performance and longevity. Attach the running planks to the deck using spikes or lag screws. Do not use bolts. 2 – Glued-laminated curbs, 10 ¾” x 6-3/4” x 21’-8” (Curbs must meet at least TL1 specifications) 10 – Glued-laminated curb blocks, 10 ¾” x 12” x 2’-4” (Curb blocks must meet at least TL1 specifications) Include all hardware for assembly Hodges Bridge Kit – 22’ 0” x 15’ 9” x 0 Degree Skew 4 – Glued-laminated Panel, 5-1/8” x 4’ x 15’-9” (actual dimensions – includes 10-3/4” overhang on each side) 2 – Glued-laminated Panel, 5-1/8” x 3’ x 15’-9” (actual dimensions – includes 10-3/4” overhang on each side) 13 – Running planks, 3”x12” (nominal).
