Title: Construction – GAOA Christopher Creek Well Abandonment, Replacement and Waterline Installation Description: Work includes replacing and abandoning drinking water well at the Christopher Creek Campground and installing new waterline to the storage tank. The project consists of drilling and developing a potable water supply well, installation of a submersible pump with controls and accessories, electrical & plumbing necessary to connect to the existing control building, construction of approximately 115 feet of waterline from the building to the new well site, construction of the concrete wellhead pad with enclosure, 6” high, 28 feet long, chain-link fence with pedestrian gate around the perimeter of the well head, abandonment of the existing well, and construction of approximately 250 feet of waterline from the water storage tank to the entry point to the distribution system. Work also includes upgrading water storage tank level indicators. Contractor will responsible for all engineering, reporting, testing, and fees necessary for the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality “Approval to Construct” and Arizona Department of Water Resources “Well Completion” and Well Abandonment” work, and reporting. Location: The proposed well site is located on the SE ¼ of NW ¼ of SE ¼ Section 25, Township 11 North, Range 12 East, Gila and Salt River Baseline and Meridian. Travel State Route 87 North from Phoenix, Arizona to Payson (approximately 99 miles). In Payson, turn east at Junction of State Route 260. Travel east approximately 25 miles and turn south at the Christopher Creek Campground intersection. Basis for Award: The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFQ Best Value-Tradeoffs: Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process.
