Once cleared 6500 cubic feet of 2-6” rocks will be placed along 650’ of shoreline to stabilize the bank. This project can be done in phases so bids should separate reed removal and shoreline stabilization. Depending on costs and available budget the Forest Service may choose to do only the reed removal part of the project. Location: Tonto NF, Mesa Ranger district. Granite Reef Recreation Site. Take 202 Red Mountain freeway and exit on to Power Rd and take Power Rd north onto the Tonto National Forest and look for Granite Reef Recreation Site where Power Rd curves to the East. Basis for Award: The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFP Best Value-Tradeoffs: Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process.
