This project is for conveyance of water through a closed conduit, from a source of supply to a watering facility, for use by livestock or wildlife. This standard applies to replacement and installation of a new water pipeline. The total length of the pipeline in this project is 7,000 Linear Feet. The pipeline material is Black HDPE 1.25â (OD) DR9 250 psi. The pipeline starts at Robles Well on the Tonto National Forest, Mesa Ranger District and continues west for approximately 1.5 miles total length (see map dated 04/15/2021). The pipeline is on top of the ground and sections will be fused together with a fusing machine. There is One âTâ transition and required connections to 2 existing troughs included in this design. There are several locations where intersecting roads and the pipeline meet where pipeline will need to be buried in same location as the existing damaged pipe. Traffic mitigation of a busy Forest Service road will be needed during the time of removal and burial of the new pipe. Other fittings, vents and pressure reduction may be needed, and existing damaged pipeline will be removed.
