Amendment 002 - Provides response to RFI. Amendment 001 - Extends due date for proposals and answers question received. USDA Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, Mesa Ranger District has a requirement for invasive reed removal at Boulder & Acacia Recreation sites at Canyon Lake, Maricopa County, Arizona. Project consists of Remove all reed vegetation along shoreline located adjacent to the Boulder (approximately 900 linear feet total) and Acacia (approximately 60 linear feet total) picnic areas. Magnitude of project: Between $250,000 and $500,000. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business under the NAICS 238910 ($16.5 Million). Award will be based on Best Value - Tradeoffs. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price contract. Organized Formal Site Visit: The date and time will be announced in the solicitation. The meeting will be held at the site location. From the junction of the West Apache Trail (main street) and North Apache Trail (State Highway 88) in Apache Junction, take State Highway 88 (North Apache Trail) northeast 15 miles out onto the Tonto National Forest and look for the first recreation site on your right (south side of Highway 88) called Boulder Recreation Site. This is the site directly behind the Canyon Lake Marina in LaBarge Cove. Any questions on this project shall be sent in writing to Contracting Officer (CO): warren.abbott@usda.gov . This is a Performance Price Trade-Off acquisition and award(s) will be made based upon the best value to the government in accordance with FAR 15.3.
