Title: Construction – Telegraph Fire BAER Gates Description: The project encompasses several different access points to burn areas for the Telegraph fire. The Contractor will install three gates (with associated gate signs and markers) on the Globe Ranger District within the Tonto National Forest. The gates will provide the Forest the ability to close off the burn area as needed from the public during restoration activities and to aid in the natural recovery of the burned area. Location: Pioneer Pass Road (112) is a rural, paved road that is maintained for passenger car traffic. Pinal Mountain Road (651) is a rural, native surface road that is maintained for passenger car traffic. Government Spring Road (899) is a rural, native surface road that is maintained for high clearance vehicles. It is not suitable for passenger cars. All roads are located in the Globe Ranger District of the Tonto National Forest. Basis for Award: The Government Anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Contract using RFQ Best Value-Tradeoffs: Award will be made to the offer that meets or exceeds the requirements contained herein, at the price that is most advantageous to the government will be determined to be the best value. Price reasonableness will be determined by using competitive solicitation process. No Site Visit is scheduled for this project This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Small business Size Standard is NAICS Code –237310 - Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction; Sign erection, highway, road, street, or bridge The Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Davis-Bacon wages apply.
