Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAW25R0021 - GAOA, TNF Barracks Deferred Maintenance Background: The purpose of the project is to update and increase efficiency of existing barracks by replacing all electrical fixtures with LED lights, upgrade all switches and plugs, run electrical tests, and upgrade breaker boxes accordingly. Replace most windows with similar style retrofit double-pane windows and replace HVAC units and duct work. This work will be required on 18 separate buildings scattered across the Tahoe National Forest. Project Location: 17 buildings scattered throughout the Tahoe National Forest. Maps and addresses will accompany the solicitation. Solicitation Number 127EAW25R0021 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about June 5th, 2025. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled.
