Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a Small Business AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 127EAW25R0010 - Antelope Fire Road Reconditioning Project: The scope of this project entails repairing roads damaged by the Antelope Fire and suppression activities on forest roads and features. The work involves asphalt road repair, road reconditioning, vegetation removal, and aggregate surfacing. The repair of the roads aims to restore them to a functional state for public use, ensuring safety and usability through necessary repairs and alterations, with a focus on restoring drainage to ditches, culverts, and other drainage features. Project Location: This project is located on the Shasta McCloud Management Unit (SMMU) in the McCloud Ranger District, specifically on Forest Road 43N15 Harris Spring (FA 15). Solicitation Number 127EAW25R0010 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about April 2nd, 2025. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings and other information necessary submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
