Description: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Proposals shall only be requested and accepted from contractors who are a 100% Small Business owned AND certified in System for Award Management (SAM, https://sam.gov). The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Forest Service (USFS), has a requirement for but not limited to the following: 1247EAW23R0027: GAOA Renovate El Cariso and Blue Jay CG, Cleveland National Forest. This project consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals as follows: Remove and dispose existing picnic tables, fire rings, and BBQs at sites shown on site map for El Cariso Campground. Remove existing wood bollards, order, purchase and install new picnic tables, fire rings, and BBQs for sites on site map. Replace the wood bollards with new ones provided by the Cleveland National Forest at a helipad that the contractor must transport. All metal picnic tables (PMB-8WR) are required to be secured to the ground using 3/8” rebar no less than 3 feet long and installed on each table leg. Option 1: Remove and dispose existing picnic tables, fire rings, and BBQs at sites shown on site map for Blue Jay Campground. Stay on highway 74, going west, for 14 miles and El Cariso Campground will be on the right. Blue Jay Campground is approximately 4 mile up Long Canyon Road from El Cariso Campground. Solicitation 127EAW23R0027 for this effort will be posted to SAM.gov (https://sam.gov) on or about April 26, 2023. This solicitation will contain all necessary specifications, drawings, and other information necessary to submit a proposal for this project. There is currently no official group site visit scheduled. The solicitation will include site visit information if one is deemed necessary. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects: The estimated cost of the total project is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
